The Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes is this Saturday, December 6th, from 10:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 7th, from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. This is the 20th year anniversary of the tour and features seven homes and one historic church. To preview the homes, visit the tour’s website.
Each home has been paired with a neighborhood restaurant and will feature food samplings each day from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Restaurants include La Tavola, Moore Farms and Friends, Murphy’s, Highland Tap, Atkins Park, Timone’s, Noche, El Taco, Fontaine’s, San Francisco Coffee Roasting Co., and Tapa Tapa.
Tickets are available in advance for $25.00 each. Tickets will also be available this weekend at the Virginia-Highland WYCA for $30.00 each. Proceeds from the tour will be used for parks improvements, safety, sidewalk and traffic concerns, planning and preservation efforts in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood.
