Whole Foods Market Buckhead is hosting a High Road Craft Ice Cream Tour & Beer Dinner to benefit Urban Recipe on Saturday, August 8 pm at 4 pm at 77 West Paces Ferry Road, NW. The event will begin at Whole Foods and transportation will be provided from there for the three course dinner, which will be paired with craft beer at this fun event.
According to Jim LaVallee of Epic Development, long time supporter and former president of the organization, the funds raised will be used to support Urban Recipe’s food cooperatives for low income families.
Tickets are $50 per person and 100% of the ticket purchase will benefit Urban Recipe. “We are very grateful to Whole Foods for hosting this event,” said Chad Hale, CEO of Urban Recipe, formerly known as Georgia Avenue Community Ministry. “The money raised at this event will help our 350 families in our seven food cooperatives. The food co-op is a unique program that provides food for those in need in a way that creates food security, affirms dignity and builds community.”
