The weather is going to be perfect this weekend for the 43rd annual Inman Park Festival and Tour of Homes. Inman Park is located just two miles east of downtown, and is Atlanta’s first planned community dating back to 1890 and is one of the nation’s first garden suburbs. The Tour of Homes starts on Friday, and features 11 homes including the Inman Park United Methodist Church. With the entire neighborhood listed on the National Register of Historic Places, tour goers are sure to be amazed by what they see.
The festival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, and features a juried Arts and Crafts Show with more than 150 fine artists, a street market with more than 250 vendors, music throughout the day, food from Inman Park’s awesome restaurants, a Kidzone and the city’s funkiest and most eclectic spring parade on Saturday afternoon.
