The Druid Hills Civic Association is hosting the 2013 Druid Hills Home and Garden Tour this Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21. The tour celebrates the evolution of architecture and design in the Druid Hills neighborhood.
This year’s tour features five homes, Parkwood Park and the Lullwater Conservation Garden, where the Lullwater Garden Club will host its annual plant sale. An addition to this year’s tour is a Speaker Series at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History with topics on vegetable gardening, landscape architecture, home restoration and the history of Druid Hills. There will also be a Classic Car Show featuring automobiles from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s sponsored by the Dogwood Chapter of the Lambda Club International at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
