Epic Development is currently building true modern and modern prairie style homes in the Old Fourth Ward. They are planning a townhouse community and we’re excited to congratulate Dancing Goats Coffee Bar on the opening of their second location there. See this recent article in Atlanta Eater for more information.
The coffee shop will brew Batdorf & Bronson coffee and serve pastries from Duck’s Cosmic Kitchen and sandwiches and salads from 4th & Swift. On August 17th, Dancing Goats will hold a grand opening at its temporary location at the corner of Glen Iris Drive and North Avenue. The celebration will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will feature live music and free samples.
Dancing Goats will move to a permanent location sometime in 2014 when Green Street Properties and Jamestown Properties reopen the former Sears Roebuck & Co. building as Ponce City Market. The historic building is currently being redeveloped into retail and office space, restaurants, apartments and condos. It is located directly across from the new Old Fourth Ward Park and is on the Atlanta Beltline corridor.
