Construction continues at “280 Elizabeth Street”, a 45 million dollar mixed use development in the heart of the Inman Park commercial district. The 3.4 acre property is located at the corner of Elizabeth Street, North Highland and Lake Avenues – just a block away from the BeltLine’s East Side Trail. Plans for the project include 200+ apartment units, 39,000 square feet of retail space and at least three new restaurants with leafy “green roof” features. A water wall and public green spaces are designed to lure pedestrians through a public corridor into the heart of the project, which will connect to an existing small park and pond.
The 570 space parking garage is currently under construction which will be completely internalized and invisible from the surrounding streets. The project should be complete by third quarter of this year.
Epic Development is currently planning a ten unit development within walking distance of 280 Elizabeth Street. Plans include eight townhome units and two single family homes.
