Atlanta’s most anticipated fall festival is this weekend! The Candler Park Fall Fest kicks off Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. with a 5K Road Race. The race winds through the historic Candler Park neighborhood. The actual festival starts at 12:00 p.m. in the park. This year’s them is “Dazed and Confused” and celebrates the 70’s. Festival activities include an Artist Market with over 150 artists from around the southast, live music throughout the day, 70’s muscle cars, food trucks, a kids area and a beer garden sponsored by Atlanta’s own Sweetwater Brewing Company. The festival continues on Sunday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with Sunday’s headliner, Francine Reed, taking the stage at 6:30 p.m.

Candler Park is located about 5 minutes east of Downtown Atlanta and just south of Ponce de Leon Avenue. The neighborhood surrounds a 55 acre park that was named after Coca-Cola magnate Asa Griggs Candler.
