The third annual Parktoberfest is this weekend in the Whittier Mill Village neighborhood of Northwest Atlanta. Parktoberfest is a traditional fall festival that showcases Whittier Mill Park’s green space and surrounding neighborhood and features great food, beer, a silent auction and fantastic live entertainment. This year’s music lineup includes Whiskey Shivers, Guthrie Brown & The Family Tree and Old Salt Union. The festivities will begin at 3:00 pm and continue until 10:00 pm.
While in the neighborhood, check out our latest development Riverside Walk, an enclave of ten craftsman style homes starting in the low 300’s. Riverside Walk offers three floor plans, the Oglethorpe, the Monterey and the Whitefield featuring 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
The Monterey plan located at 1911 Felker Ward Street offers three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms with welcoming exteriors and cozy interiors. When approaching the home from the front, visitors are greeted by a welcoming, covered front porch and an attached two-car garage with a door to the kitchen. Attached to the back of the home, a covered back patio makes the perfect relation spot or grill area. Providing an open concept design, the kitchen features a breakfast nook that opens into the great room.
The Oglethorpe plan located at 1921 Felker Ward Street is perfect for the growing family. With four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms and a basement, home buyers will find plenty of open space to keep everyone comfortable. The home’s exterior includes a two-car attached garage with a covered front porch and a back patio area. The luxurious master bathroom boasts two closets, one of which is a walk-in closet, and the kitchen features high-quality appliances, a walk-in pantry and a breakfast nook connecting to the great room.
