The Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes is this Saturday, December 5th, from 10:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 6th, from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. This year’s tour features six homes as well as historic tours of the neighborhood. To preview the homes, visit the tour’s website.
Each home has been paired with a neighborhood restaurant and will feature food samplings each day from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Restaurants include Murphy’s, Highland Tap, Atkins Park, Fontaine’s, Marlow’s Tavern, Savi Provisions and The Cook’s Warehouse.
Tickets are available in advance for $25.00 each. Tickets will also be available this weekend at John Howell Park for $30.00 each. Proceeds from the tour will be used for parks improvements, safety, sidewalk and traffic concerns, planning and preservation efforts in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood.
