Buyer’s preferences are always changing. We work hard to be on top of those changes and many of our recent blog posts have discussed elements such as the style and price of the home.
Lately, we’re also seeing more buyers take a conservative approach to the financial commitment associated with a home purchase. Many are able to afford significantly more house, but are questioning the long-term wisdom of owning a large home and being responsible for a larger mortgage payment. We typically see a tradeoff of size for quality. These buyers are satisfied with a smaller home if it has higher quality finishes.
