Epic Development is excited to announce it’s Platinum Sponsorship of the Old Fourth Ward Patrol.  The OFW Patrol is a privately funded, membership and sponsorship-based neighborhood public safety patrol focused on addressing Old Fourth Ward security and quality of life issues.  The patrol launched services May 1, 2011, in the eastern half of O4W bounded by Ponce, Boulevard, Auburn and the BeltLine. The management and administrative functions are being performed by neighbohood volunteers.  The O4WP officers are experienced APD police officers with full policing powers while they are providing patrol services.  The patrol conducts proactive community based policing: a focus that goes beyond what APD can currently provide due to their limited resources.  The patrol’s efforts are to proactively deter crime amd to  focus on “quality of life” issues such as deterring graffiti, loitering, scoping of targets, code violations, etc.  In addition, the patrol is there to respond to calls from members during patrol hours, and members can request the patrol to keep an “extra eye” on their residence while they are out of town.

“Epic Development is commited to giving back to the communities where we build.  We see community involvement as a key to the success of the redevelopment of the Old Fourth Ward” states Jim LaVallee, Epic Development’s principal responsible for marketing and finance.  We are currently building throughout the Old Fourth Ward including Irwin Street, Fortune Place, Morgan Street and Glen Iris Drive.   View all the details of our current listings here.  For more information about homeownership or real estate investment in Atlanta call Jim LaVallee at 404-847-9080 or write Jim@EpicDevelopment.com.
