We are already incorporating these designs in our homes. The picture above is from a recently built home in Druid Hills. The first floor features an open floor plan with a huge island that overlooks the living and dining rooms. We just recently completed a home in Candler Park that features a home automation system that controls the security, lighting, heating and cooling and entertainment systems of the home. The homeowner will be able to control these systems via an app on their smart phone or tablet.
