The 4th of July falls on a Monday this year making it a long week for many people, and there is no better to place to celebrate than Downtown AtlantaCentennial Olympic Park hosts the Southeast’s largest fireworks display on Monday evening.  There will be fun and entertainment for the entire family including Montell Jordan and J-Fly and Friends.  While at the park, don’t forget to check out the Fountain of Rings and locate your brick from the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.

The Georgia Aquarium is hosting several 4th of July events over the weekend including Red, White & Brew on Saturday night featuring unlimited beer, live music and of course over 500 aquatic species. Watch the Centennial Olympic Park fireworks show on the top of the Georgia Aquarium’s parking deck  at their family event, Funbelievable 4th.  Both events will support the Aquarium’s education efforts.

Don’t forget that the World of Coca-Cola, CNN Center, Sky Wheel, College Football Hall of Fame and the Center for Civil and Human Rights are all located in the heart of Downtown.
