Atlanta Streets Alive

On Sunday, April 20th, Atlanta Streets Alive takes over the West End.  The following streets will be closed to cars and opened to people:  Ralph David Abernathy, Murphy Avenue and White Street.  The event kicks off at 1:30 p.m. with a bicycle parade starting at Gordon White Park.  Bike decorating begins at 1:00 p.m.

There will be many activities to explore including fitness classes, an artist market, music, a farmer’s market, children’s activities, a beer garden and much more!  Click here for a map and full list of events.

Atlanta Streets Alive is inspired by an event in Bogota where 70 miles of streets are closed to car traffic and opened to thousands of people each Sunday celebrating community space, health, outdoor recreation and active transportation.
