Epic Development is excited to announce that we have partnered with local Realtor Shannon Makaila and the non-profit organization The Green Dash 5K to adopt a section of the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta Beltline. The Eastside Trail was dedicated by City officials on October 15 and stretches along the former rail corridor from Monroe Drive at 10th Street to Irwin Street. The 2.5 mile trail connects the neighborhoods of Midtown, Virginia Highland, Poncey Highland, the Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park. We have adopted the section that runs from the Ralph McGill Blvd bridge to right pass Parish restaurant and includes the Old Fourth Ward Skate Park. We will be responsible for picking up litter, cleaning benches, signage and other fixtures and maintaining the greenspace along the trail through weeding and invasive plant removal. We attended an Orientation this pass Saturday and will attend several workshops presented by Trees Atlanta to learn more about invasive plant removal and pruning. Trees Atlanta is currently planting 600 trees along the trail as part of its partnership with the Atlanta Beltline, and we are planning our first clean up day for late Fall.

Epic Development is currently building along the Eastside Trail in the Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park and Virginia Highland.
